First things first. Sam got a haircut! His first real haircut. It may sound silly, but I have been agonizing for weeks over the decision to do it or not. "It's just a haircut" you say, but most of that hair has been on his head since before he was even born so, in my mind, to cut the hair is to "cut" his babyhood. But I did it, and it's adorable, and we all survived, and guess what...he's still kind of a baby. We went all the way to Whoville to get it done and the ladies were so impressed with how well behaved he was. They also thought he was the cutest thing they had ever seen and actually asked if they could take pictures of him to put up in the store. Seriously. Before, during, and after:

We basically have a house full of toys and what Sam loves the most are the broom, the vacuum and the swiffer. He thinks they are so funny. He will go stand at the closet where we keep the vacuum cleaner and whine until I get it out. And in true mancub fashion he doesn't want to sweep, swiffer or vacuum himself, he wants to watch me do it. Some things are just born in us, apparently.

We have been spending a lot of time outside with this nice weather swinging, walking, feeding ducks, playing in sandboxes. Now that he's walking these things are a lot more fun (and necessary).
